New Planning Application Submitted by Ridgewind
You will most probably be aware that at a NLC Planning meeting on the 29th April North Lincs councillors rejected an application by Ridgewind to site and erect 7 wind turbines on land between Burton and Flixborough.Whilst the country as a whole enjoys its scenery lifestyle and amenity largely unchanged with few Windfarms approved and installed, North Linc's has already approved developments that would meet its 2020 wind energy generation targets, 11 years early in 2009 At the time the application was rejected, it was reassuring that councillors (of all parties) stood up for the people of North Lincolnshire and said NO enough is enough we believe we have done our bit.Subsequently however we have just discovered that the developer Ridgewind have re-submitted their application which is now posted on the NLC web site application number is WF/2009/0573). Link to planning website on Links page.WE are not aware of the details of the re submittal but it would appear from the website that the application was received and consultations were sent out on the 11th May, yet only now has this become public knowledge, and that the 21 day consultation process runs until the 1st June.This is an extremely tight time scale in which to digest the details and adequately respond however it is our intention to the best of our abilities to do so.Thank You for your support - BAT's
